Why is it that when we search, the first page shows some results but we have to go to the image or artist page to actually click on those results shown on the quicksearch page. I searched for Matt Clark, saw him on the quicksearch page but couldnt’ click anywhere to link to his portfolio, go to artists page and then click and all works fine.

Shoul also note that click on his name or avatar in thwe artists page of the search takes me back to the main CGportfolio page, not his portfolio.
that’s because his username has an underscore, and he has not reset it yet.
We are unable to allow usernames with underscores, and everyone who’s user-name has one has to re-enable their account.
So I have to reset mine then? Mine didn’t use to have a an underscore until I signed up for CG portfolio.

there’s a bug in IE that prevents it from storing cookies on domains with underscores in their name which we wern’t aware of.
you should be able to get away with a hyphen, they’re still allowed.
