TUTORIALS - A Layered Approach to Drawing From Imagination - by Thomasphoenix

[li]1 Start off with the curve that runs thru you torso from spine to head(line of action)[/li][/ul]

[li]Put in the limb curves ,make sure they are supporting the main “Line of Action”[/li][/ul]

[li]Block in with mental construction based on a cube cylinder egg etc![/li][/ul]

[li]Time for Correction Now ! (in my case I have used no Reference ) you can check the figure for perspective anatomy proportion at this stage! And we dont want the final figure to have a curve running along the contour !So erase the parts that dont look right and start to put in the basic lines of the morphology(surface anatomy) of the back!(keep an Anatomy book handy as reference if in doubt)[/li][/ul]

[li]Erased the head since it doesnt fit in with the redrawn back[/li][/ul]

[li]The Rt Upper leg length is not correct so erased it![/li][/ul]

[li]Finish off all of the Morphology[/li][/ul]

[li]As a bonus u can take this to your favorite paint program and blend the strokes to bring out a softer artwork.(there are some excellent tuts here on blending by some Artists)[/li][/ul]

feel free to ask me any doubts on any particular area:)
