Building a Robot Character from Scratch (Modelling, Rigging, Shading)
Hey guys, I’m Wintermute Digital, and I’d like to share the tutorial series I just completed. I’ll go over some modelling tricks to make mechanically realistic parts, rigging, IK setup and object tracking, easy ways to add detail like armour plating, vents and cables, and finally how to create a small set of simple materials and setup the overall scene to render the character.
