you could look at cmi studios free stuff, they have shake and other ones so you might be able to pinch some info from the DF ones etc.

This may not be as step-by-step but if you’re looking for inspiration on title design some of the Rockport Press books can be very enlightening.

Have you used Motion before? It makes an amazing companion product to Shake and has a great toolset for title design and real-time motion graphics work.
