One of our art projects for this year is ‘Truth’, so I decided to make a controvercial topic… so PLEASE NO FLAME WAR!!! THE EVENTS OF THIS ANIMATION HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MY PERSONAL BELIEFS!!
The concept of this animation is such that portrays a different side of the coin. It exposes the glorious moment that the extremist Jihad would experience when this event occurred.
This implies that people have their own idea of truth - they believe that certain things are true whilst others do not, hence their truth differs.
This then questions the validity of any truth. If one thing can be true to one person but false to another, is it really true at all? What is truth?
I don’t need any more crits, but if you like, you’re welcome to say. I know about the spec on the plane in the beginning, the spire on the north tower, the length of the fence scene, the low res explosion…
The video is a kind of final draft - my teacher (fine art) says that it’s too “Structuralistic”, i.e. it tells too much of a story rather than letting the viewer discover the meaning
