Trouble with avatar

I´m newbie here and this is my first official post (before i did a test post). I´ve got a question, how can i put an avatar in my posts?. From usercp(into edit avatar) i cannot do it.

Hello I have the same problem im not sure where to upload an avitar for my cgtalk profile. Where abouts do you upload it? I am not a paying member of cgsociety, just a registered free user of cg talk. is the option of uploading a picture still available for me?
