tron legacy logo effect

Hi all…
could someone point me in a direction to create the ending logo to the movie Tron Legacy (the one at the end of the trailer).
Although it looks kind of ‘x-ray-ish’, it seems to have a slight blur to it as well as appearing to be lit.
Wondering if the logo is imported from a 3d package and the effects are done in post with AE or something…of if everythings done in the 3d package (hence a double posting in the Maya forum).
Anyways…thanks if you know.
