Transpose Mirror the wrong subtool

#1

Hi guys,

I use ZBrush 4r6

I did transpose my eye on the other side, but I also accidently transpose somewhere in time my main base mesh. So I don’t want to step back in time an find my error, I will lose my sculpting progress.

In Maya, I can, for sure, see double mesh on top of each other.

My question: Is there a way to select and delete in ZBrush a “layer” of mesh (my double) or I need to select it in Maya and delete it? And if so Will my GoZ will work well and preserve my subdivisions?

I’m not too sure what you mean but I’ll take a guess that you accidentally duplicated your mesh within the subtool. So you have 2 identical meshes sitting on top of eachother in the same subtool?

If so, you can use the ‘autogroups’ function to separate the polygroups based on mesh continuity. then if you ctrl+shift+click on the mesh it will hide the unwanted dupe. Now you can use the ‘delete hidden’ function.

I hope I understood your question correctly.

Yah exactly. I double my mesh: SInce my mirror mesh is as the same position has the other: it’s on top of it.

Thanks that work.
