Transparency Incorrect [RESOLVED]


I have a plane with a material mapped to it that uses an alpha channel for transparency. It’s rendering very strangely in the parts that supposed to be transparent. You can see through the transparent portion, but it’s adding a fill as well.

The two areas circled in red should be transparent and show the hose and the connector that are behind the plane. It’s doing that, but it’s also filling in with the grey fill.

Any clues?




It was an issue with AO with the Standard Render Engine. Fixed using compositing tags.
