I have made a selection on some paint marks…How can I transfer that selection to another image? I dont want to use any pixel information from the paint marks - only the outline of its selection…?
Thanks

Not sure if I understood you righ, but how about this:
Open both images
make selection in image_1 (already done, as you said)
click “select->save selection”
go to image_2
click “select->load selection”
Channels panel.
Save Selection to Channel.
Drag and drop channel to other image.
Load Channel as Selection.
It got a little dodgy on me with images of different size&shape.
A fix for that.
Channels panel.
Save Selection to Channel
Select the channel
Select All
Copy
Move to other image
Create New Channel
Paste.
This gives you transform controls before plunking down the pastement permanently.
Make a new layer in your existing image, and fill your selection with a solid color. Now just copy that new layer to your other image and from there, ctrl + left click directly on it’s preview icon in the layer manager, and your selection will appear.
Is there a reason you can’t just select the pixels, hit m and shift-drag to your other image?
