Project : “ Let the sunshine in“

A short (3 min max) story with toys as principal character

Idea: we want to do something not too much complicated, short, effective, fun and high quality. Rendered in toy style (like first Pixar™ movies). We love toys. What could be better to see toys singing a song taken from a musical ? (we thought about a song taken from the musical Hair “Let the sunshine in”). So the project is to animate them while in a play yard they dance and sing

Software Used: we mainly use 3ds max and Vray but all the software can be used (the only limit is your creativity)

Who are we ?

Louis: [color=White]hi, my name is Louis Choiniere, I am 23. I finished my diploma in naval architecture in 2006 and another in 3d animation at College O’Sullivan of Quebec in 2007. He is now employed in a visualisation studio in Montreal. I first worked with Giorgio in 2006 during the Trafalgar Square Hardcore Modeling Challenge on the CG Society network. I call myself as 3d generalist and I love working on all the pipe[/color]

Giorgio: I live and dream in Genova (mainly) . For me 3d graphics is a passion. I started CG two years ago in visualization and lighting (my tuts can be found on CGarena) but now I’m switching to organic modeling and one day I hope concept art :wink: you can see my work in www.giorgioluciano.net: I like to dream while I draw :wink:

Skills Needed: We need Texture artist (2) and Compositor (at least one :wink: also help from character designer and environmentalist with experience in plants :wink:
