Alas, it’s obvious the illustrious phoenix has forgotten his roots, as my vaguely obvious allusion was tragically missed. Though being of the Super Spot-Billed variety, my mercy is swift…particularly if you have blue hair.

 I really want to know which roots I've forgotten, since my own vaguely obvious (though I don't believe the two words to be compatible) allusion suggests that I am not British. What are my roots?
 I'm hoping the second bit is just a convoluted way of telling me you also watch One Piece and have special thoughts for Vivi...*mmm, Vivi*
