While I agree with you wholeheartedly about the issue of cultural/cult topics being an exclusion point for people unaware of said topic, I guess it may also be said that many of these are regarded as “classics” of their time, so therefore afford a lot of inspiration (like Frankenstein, for example). I’m not a huge fan of Star Trek myself (although Patrick Stewart kicks many points of ass), but I can still have fun just sketching something pleasant.
Why not just sketch you misunderstanding/hatred of the topic? A good way to vent and it’s constructive! :slight_smile:
