Goro - please elaborate on 2 of these: in the Animation battle is the battle among the sketchers, or do you mean to animate a battle scene -and- what do you mean by “Blind Sketch”? Sketch without looking?

The blind sketch idea is exactly what you are thinking
Sketching without looking. I used to do it with pen and paper once.
The results are hilarious. But it doesn’t mean that you have to draw everything
bilnd…I thoght you could do lineart blind and then color it for example…think
there are many ways

I read somewhere that that is extremely good for your ability to “see”, e.g. to listen to the perceptions and not to what your brain tells you what it should be.

drawing the curves and creases from the palm of your hand works good too

Its not a bad idea…I like it. Its been a very long time since I’ve done it tho. But its a good thing to keep current on how to do it.

We used to do contour drawings as a blind sketch in school. Mine would usually turn out pretty much ok except I usually gave people’s bodies little bitty pinheads! :applause:
