Tool handles

Hey, does anyone else find it slightly offputting when you work without tool handles that sticks to convient numbers? for example if you rotate it sticks at every 30 degrees or if you bevel it sticks at every 20mm (this might change depending on unit scale). Also working without handles its difficult to tell what tool, if any, you have selected because the mouse curser doesnt change.

Is there a way to fix either of these problems?
