TINTA the short film

#41

This is looking very nice. Is the background and the floor on one simple plane or is it complex geo with camera mapping?

The character itself is too dark I guess. 20% more would be nice. But the rimlight do a very great job here to shape him.

And I would suggest you to add some dust or grain to get a more film like style. An environment fog would also produce more atmosphere.

I can’t wait to see more  Maybe a short animation test with final comp

By the way. What programs do you use?

#42

no-name-party: Are simple planes the bg and the floor and i add some noise and some fog (in the style of the short) i use only wings3d for modeling, maya for rig, render, shaders and after and photoshop for composition

#43

Great stuff!

The 3d stuff is beginning to collect light and be a bit too dark in places, best to make it brighter towards your 2d images.

Very origional, want to see more!

i added fog and add more light and grain for get a movie mood i think i can add more grain, but today i gonna post a almost final composition animated! yey! jaja Commentes & critics are welcome

#45

Hay, the fog is looking very cool. It adds alot of volume in the scene.

Nice done. I really like the fog movement. But why is he moving backwards?

#48

you find out when the short comes out! jajaja but thanks for the comment,

#49

another composition C&C are welcome

#50

Here everybody! i have a question for you, which composition you most like?, why the question, because de forms that comes over his head gone be animated in 2d or 3d, but i want some suggestion of which look better, C&C over all are welcome

#51

I think that since you made him be in 3d, it looks better for there to be 3d shapes behind him (I also like how they are all skewed in some way). I feel like the 2d ones just feel really flat, at least in contrast to the character.

#52

I do like the 3d shapes the most. Thay creat an extra depth in that image and I really like the messed up perspective… But the 2d shapes would be cool as well because the there is a 3d character and a 2d background. It would creat a better contrast between those two worlds.

#53

thanks for the comments! i think i gonna make the 3d forms or maybe a combination? i gonna try it…

#54

Hi everyone!
