Timeline moves lots of frames before rendering! LW 9.5

#1

Hi folks, the thing is: I got a simple 100 frames animation of a rigged whale swimming. Whenever I press F9 or F10 to render, the cursor of the timeline moves to the end (frame 100) before LW renders the image/animation.
Example: I wanna render frame 10, I press F9, the cursor goes from frame 0 to 100, takes like 10 seconds to do that… and then LW begins to render the frame 10.

Sometimes it moves to other frames, but its not rendering right away!
Anyone can help me out on this?

Thanks for the attention

That’s a very unique error, which I have never experienced myself.

What troubleshooting tips have you gone through so far?

Hi, it seems that LW is calculating something related to the animation, but it doesn´t happen with my other scenes… I have a rigged animation till frame 100.
LW doesn´t crash, it just spend more time than usual to render.

You were the first to give feedback though…

have you got any dynamics running in there? :-/

Yes, HV´s for the bubbles, but they aren´t affecting it (I checked without them and the problem persisted). And It happens when I save the file either…

I’m gonna have to give up and say you should go to spinquad and/or newtek.com if you haven’t already.

Check to see what other plugins you might have active in the various places (one shortcoming of LW is that it doesn’t have a listing anywhere of all the plugins that are active - uyou have to go hunting for them in all the various places you can start one working)

the next step to see, I suppose, is to see if the scene does this on someone else’s computer, but I dunno if you are under NDA or just don’t want to give someone else your scene.

thx man, i´m waiting response there too and I´ll try your suggestions.

It was a problem with Anchor modifier I accidentally turned on.
I solved it going to master plugins and turning its options off.
I got more lucky on SpinQuad! lol
