The Star Spooky is a Modular Attack Craft, a class of U.S./NASA space craft which is designed to separate for diversity of functionality, serviceability and emergency purposes. The name “Spooky” is in reference to the AC-130 Spooky.

Hello everyone! People have been doing some terrific work! I am jumping in here at the last minute. I am more interested in sharing what I have been working on more than winning. Not because I don’t like my idea, but because I do not consider any of the images I am submitting to be finished. Additionally, I have not really had the time to post and participate in discussions, which is half the point, yes? Never the less, these images may be fun food for thought.

I started my project with a backdrop setting of Uranus. I like the possibilities its shifted axis and rings bring compositionally. It also serves as an interesting point of contention for resources. Water specifically.

The Idea behind the Space Spooky is a craft that can be modified:
Wing or no wing.
The Wing can be armed with multiple weapons.
Different sorts of cannons can be added and arrayed on the Gun Module.
The gun module can separate for attack and emergency purposes.
The capsule can separate as an emergency escape option, as with contemporary and historic rockets.
The engine section features its own cockpit. It can operate independently from the Gun module.

The MAC Carrier is a modular vehicle system which serves as a carrier/launch pad, a servicing pit stop as well as a command station. It can also be linked other carriers to form a larger station. It is commonly arrayed in a radial orientation with the bay chambers linked, forming a ring allowing for simulated gravity.
