Hi all. This is my first crack at the challenge. It just popped in my head today to check it out, and I noticed that there was still a month left! So, heres my first try… I came up with this guy, I think his name is “Flappy”.
Flappy’s claim to flaim is a complete lack of a bottom jaw. He is exploring some career possibilities right now, and will certainly make some changes to his wardorbe very soon.

Quite a loopy concept! I think I like it. Come to think of it, I made a jawless head once, and it was quite a lot of fun. Very good idea to leave all the soft tissue, only removing the jawbone. I can imagine such a thing would be totally hilarious if animated, with that giant lower lip flapping about all over the place…

Ok, put in some work. Everything is pretty much roughed out, still boxy though. The head is hasn’t been worked, I’ve just lofted the eyes and basic shape of the nose. As I work the head, I’ll be extending the lower lip to better match the drawing.

Starting to put the head together. Many kinks that need to be worked out, as well as detailing to break up the symmetry.
