more material testing before the body pics…

What do you think about tattoos… are they suitable in 1800 century? Well at least different tribes used them… hmm…
Made the eyes look a bit reddish and the left eye (from my eyes)
has a cataract developing in it. Added some liver spots…

DAMN forget the bigger ears…

EDIT: added one image…made the tattoo more blue/black… how does it look now?

#22

Excellent! Very very good!

Only one thing to change - the tatoo should be less saturated and sort of a blueish-black color.

#23

yep totally agree about the tattoo…will change it…:wip:

EDIT : changed the tattoo…look ^^^^^

#24

Yes, exactly! Now break it up a bit in some places, like the ink hasn’t penetrated certain areas as much as it should. Erase it with a grungebrush, low opacity… Do it now.

#25

Ok did it … Hope I did not over do it

#26

Ah, perfection!

#27

Thanks James

ok here is the model pic…

Made the ears bigger. It really looks older now.

#28

#30

Thanks guys,

JFFORTIN: yep you are right, just bump and hmm… was the displacement map allowed?.. well anyhow I do both… just the model for the contest and also the finished pic with material, just for my self

PIGWATER: Im kinda happy with the result so far…been learning sooo much with this contest!

#31

update…

Some pics with early body work. let me know what you think?

#32

Really great. The only thing that doesn’t work is the transition from head to body. Other that than - very good.

Yep, there is still lots of tweaking to do… I will also add more details after I finnish the legs… then I start to modify the symmetry issue.

Ah, that’s when the real fun starts!

#35

Mini-me!

You’re quite the modeller, this is real good 2D-to-3D transition!

I definitely want to see the end result

#36

Im sorry to say, but I just don’t have enough time to finish this… been very busy…and haven’t touched it for awhile now.

I will finish it as soon as possible, but cannot make it for the contest.

Good luck to all !

#37

Bad luck, Fishie… Anyway, looking forward to see the finished result in the appropriate forum soon enough then!
