Hey guys, just woundering has anyone been to the Rydan workshop and taken any classes. just found out about the school. The teachers look like they have alot of industry experience, and for the price as well looks like amazing value. Also its actually live traning and not just pre recorded videos. Not to many places offering live training, so just wanted to see if anyones actually been there, I am thinking of signing up. This is the school http://www.therydanworkshop.com/

for us that cant afford to go to america, or those expnsive art schools, I am thinking with the one on one teaching time, and level of course details they have, it maybe a good alternative, anyone going or been there?

I was in the beta and had a great time with the course. The classes are streamed live once a week and you have a secondary session to answer any questions that have come up and get feedback. Definitely helped me improve tons. Plus, I’m not really sure there are any other places that offer live training.

I did the Digital Concept Art class with Charles Guan last session, and would definitely recommend Rydan workshops. I feel live sessions are very important, and they worked out quite well overall.

They’ve got another open house coming up tomorrow, so I’d recommend attending that if you can. It’ll give you a good chance to have any questions answered, and you have a chance at winning a free workshop.

I’d defiantly recommend these guys! i completed the real-time environments course, and it pretty much set me up to land my first gig in the industry! having live lessons was great for asking the professional instructors direct questions they could answer right there and then, and also demo it to you without having to wait for forum replies etc.
The course was pretty structured, but had alot of room for the students to learn what they want as well. shout if anyone has any questions

I did the Digital Concept art course there last semester and it was awesome. I think what makes them reall viable as that its all live and Not pre recorded, along with them having class to teacher ratio which gives them more time to answer student questions etc. Anyone thats wanting to go, I think it will be really great decision. http://www.therydanworkshop.com/
