Pixar or Dreamworks should sign this guy up…and get his short on the front of one of their next releases.
The Passenger - short film released!
That Short is defenetly the best I saw. It Inspires me to do my own short. You got the Feeling for Staging and Timing…you know how to produce suspense. That is something very rare this days of television-Junk-Factories.+
Just Ordered the DVD.
Keep going.
Wow, its amazing , and it amazing that you had the patience to be 8 years doing it, well, in the end you got one of the best animated shorts I ve ever seen.
Congratulations.:bounce:
A truly Gem! Congrats mate, everything was great but I was particulate amazed in how
well integrated the music and sound was, superb!
Kudos & Cheers!

Really good short film, I enjoyed watching this so much, I cant wait to get it on DVD.
The making of is really interesting as well, invaluable information and experiences for others looking to make a short film like this. Sounds like a nightmare of a project. A good indication of why so many projects like this fail before they even begin.
+1,000,000,000 respect to Chris for staying with it and finishing.
FYI, I got mine in the mail today. I ordered it on Nov 20th, it shipped the 23rd, and arrived (in the states) at my house today (Dec 1).
Oh my goodness! Seeing the DVD quality, and the extra features, totally upped my awe towards Chris! Incredible job!
It’s worth the money!
Just got the DVD and it rocks!!
The extra features are so worth it.
And we are not talking about some early tests just put together.
These are meticulously made footage of how everything was done.
He took the time to re render some stuff just to show us how the textures were put in to
the character, how the camera was moving, how the sound effects were built etc.
Really really good!
Yeah, the DVD extras are great. Its a stunning work Chris, its great to see that you’re receiving some attention for your near superhuman effort. Strongest congratulations! Hope you sell a ton of DVDs, and perhaps get an offer to direct much like Shane Acker did!
A feat such as this defintely makes you iconic in my book. Wow.
Thank you for sharing the making of as it has renewed my faith within myself while at the same time made me feel a sense of shame for the excuses I’ve used thus far in creating my own short.
I respectfully applaud your efforts and I am astonished at how you overcame the hurdles presented by your software and hardware limitations.
I am inspired.
DVD turned up today - really great work on the extras & the film looks absolutely superb.
Cheers!
Everything about this film is amazing, the style, the animation, everything!
Amazing effort! 8 years! To keep at it for that long and finish what you started is just awesome!
The Passenger DVD just arrived and I’m so glad I bought it. It’s very polished release. Wonderfully detailed, insightful and very inspiring “making of” which is equally impressive as the movie itself. It will be rewatched often - I’m absolutely, positively sure of it
One can learn a lot - great stuff even if You consider yourself an advanced CGI creator/movie maker - some sulutions, creativity/inventivness behind them and exceptional level of production values will still be able to amaze You
The only thing I can think of that could make it even better would be Blu-Ray release…
I placed my order for the dvd. Looking forward to checking it out.
Thanks Chris!
