The OceanMaker - new film from the director of Pigeon: Impossible

I’d like to share a few things for an upcoming animated short film I’m working on entitled “The OceanMaker.” Set after the Earth’s oceans have disappeared. The story is about one courageous pilot who fights against vicious sky pirates for control of the last remaining source of water: the clouds.

At the moment we’re well over halfway finished and have mostly lighting and effects work left to go. We’ll have a trailer online soon, but in the meantime here’s a couple stills to whet your appetite:

Also, we’ve recorded a few podcasts to accompany the film. If you were a fan of the Pigeon: Impossible Podcast, this is essentially “Season 2” of that series.

I absolutely loved Pigeon: Impossible, I can’t wait for this on! I hope you release a making of series again! It was very helpful and inspiring :buttrock:

Thanks! Yeah the link at the bottom has the first few videos. The behind the scenes podcasts are going to be more big picture and less technical, but hopefully they’ll be just as valuable.
