the next modeling challenge....

#21

Looks like everyone did cars for that, but this one is just “vehicles” so that can also include planes/jets, starships, blimps, anything and everything that’s mechanical and moves I assume.

#22

Hope so man ,want so model something cool , not just cars .Well we will see what the actual topic rules soon .

#23

I can only speak for myself in this case, but I used the term ‘vehicles’ specifically so that it cast a wide net; obviously everyone has different tastes in what they like to do or not do, so this was something that I thought hopefully enough people could find something they’d want to model to make it interesting.

#24

We launch in one week… and I am leaning towards cars.

#25

Personally I thought the vehicle option was better than cars as it will give people more choice. Of course that depends on how narrow you want the challenge to be.

#26

Aw, if that’s the case maybe I should stop looking up spaceship references. At least with all the Mad Max stuff that’s out, that’d be fun to model for cars.

#27

Yah Exactly. But I think motorcycles and trucks could work also.

Basically, Movie stars vehicules from Fast Furious cars but even Terminator harley or Optimus Prime truck should be eligibles.

#28

Exactly. You get options like the Delorean from BTtF (it’s a car body yes, but so much more), or AT-AT/AT-STs, Starlord’s Milano, etc; it opens up a lot of options.

#29

Bikes, trucks anything with wheels would be kosher.

I want to leave planes and spaceships for future challenges

#30

Nah AT-ST is the Walker. Basically, the challenge is more for our era ground vehicules (1900 to now (or near futur I guess). 4 wheels of less.

#31

Ah, fair enough then

Cool, that does make sense. Wheeled things it is

#33

I am ready for the next challenge

Excited to make a new project. Can I already choose my vehicle and start modeling?

#34

Keep an eye out in this thread for updates this week.

#35

Start by gathering your ref and prepare your orthographic views. But the challenge start at the creation of the threads by Roberto.

What he said…
