the next modeling challenge....

#1

Some topics I do have in mind…
Nintendo Tribute

Creature of the Savannah

#2

Both are tempting.

Like Nintendo style, but this last challenge was also about video games… So two in a row is maybe too much. no?

Animals from Savannah: we dont see much of them in a HMC. Could be interesting

#3

I agree… the nintendo one would be pretty cool… but 2 “gaming” related in a row might be to much of the good stuff.

some animal action could be pretty interesting and fun

#4

Predator and prehistoric prey diorama could be pretty fun to create .

#5

What about fear and its representations, popular tv series or 80’s movies?

#6

Granted I’ve rarely participated so my opinion might be moot, but there was just a gaming one from the 80’s / 90’s. I as well would like to see a different topic as tributes are great for younger members to learn where this all started and for pure nostalgia, tributes to the past should be done in moderation i feel. So I would vote for creatures of the Savannah.

My favorite challenge to date is creatures in motion. The final winner was simply spectacular and it pushed participants and even those like myself that participate without entering to learn new things like motion of anatomy. In that theme I have an idea for a challenge.

The art of falling: people / creatures / buildings / objects falling to the ground.

#7

I agree with AbsorbentGhost

Predator and prehistoric prey. Or maybe something from other dimensions and planets like Aliens and Predators.

But if the only option is Nintendo, its ok. I played a lot Nintendo64, its part of my life.

#8

What about a vehicles challenge? I don’t think I’ve seen one done (or if it has it was before well before my time) so maybe any sort of car/bike/plane/etc?

Would allow for a variety of different styles given how they’ve changed over time and how they’ll continue to as technology advances.

#9

I personally want something that we can all enjoy working on , modeling a vehicle seems abit dull . I’m sure we could come up with something more interesting and still have variety for various modeling techniques .

#10

I like that idea a lot…
How about this?

Vehicles of the big screen.

#11

I’d be onboard for that

#12

1-The predator vs prey
2-Bio Mechanical life form
3-Android from a popular film
4-Create a character for an Upcoming film in 2015-onwards .
5-Strangest discovery from the arctic .
6-Historic tombs
7-Cultural taboos

Come on we can go on for miles with this . Please provide list and we vote

#13

i like that idea too

#14

There an other threat for that: TOPICS SUGGESTIONS?? no? lol

#15

lets just get this going . Im down for a cool modeling run .

#16

Vehicles would be cool, Feng Zhu has some great vehicle concept art we could work off. Would you allow vehicles based on concept art or would they have to be from a big film?

#17

Movie Vehicles sounds interesting.

I might just see Korben Dallas’ flying cab in my future…

PS. Hi everyone :buttrock:

#18

I think every concepts unused for a movies/tv should work. Don’t think Concept cars in general works under the theme Movie cars, if they are used for Gaming let say.

#19

Movie Vehicles it is…

Give a few days guys.’

If I could ask a question: What would be the difference between that future challenge and the Hollywood Dream Challenge no.36 we had 2 years ago?

Seem identical, but maybe that’s the idea?

Any way, I know what I want to recreate! I’m IN
