Based on experience I’d guess a new splash-screen with Autodesk splattered all over it and not much else.
here it is…
I am sure this info will reach the users by email, but meanwhile here are the improvements:[ul]
[li]New ‘Import UVs’ command for importing new UVs onto the selected mesh.[/li][li]New “Flood From Camera” function (in sculpting brush properties) applies a flood on only vertices facing the camera. “Flood From Camera” can be used to prevent projecting stencil detail through the entire mesh.[/li][li]SoftB brush stamping issue resolved[/li][li]Support for saving camera bookmarks with the scene[/li][li]Meshes exported from applications using units other than centimeters now import into Mudbox at the correct scale[/li][li]Support for display on larger monitors (using pixel resolutions of 2560 x 1600)[/li][li]Issue with transparency rendering resolved[/li][li]Issue with Texture Baking naming of multiple tiles resolved[/li][li]Various minor stability and performance fixes[/li][/ul]
Chris B’s right about the splash screen. There is also a Create Head button that brings in a very basic head and upper shoulders model. Mildly handy.
Anyone had a chance to try using the import uv’s function? Does this now mean that mudbox will support more than one uv channel?
