I am very novice in th world of 3d. While exploring the powerful 3dpacks like 3ds or Cinema, MAya etc. I reached a very simple program which inspired me to create 
Wings3d i found it extremely good. However the problem which bugs me is this cool shortcut thing. I know it’s so easy to configure, but i am totally miserable at creating a logical(easy to remember) set of shortcuts. Can any one share with me the knowledge of creating a fineworking shortcut system. I would be more then pleased if sombody helps me.

If you end up re-assigning 1 > 5, and also assign F1 > F12, it’s also quite easy to make a card / paper ‘cheat sheet’ to place around the keys. You can then pencil (not pen) in tool assignments while still messing around / experimenting.
Placing scotch ‘magic tape’ is another option which allows more direct customisation - without defacing keybd.
