HEY…Pushav…
You might want to be leary of falling into a fad, like speed painting, they are usually short lived, just like in the music world…gets to the point with them, where everyones stuff starts looking and sounding the same.
I have seen over a short period of time on this forum, a trend that is leading to a massive amount of unfinished ,unpolished works done in the name and for the sake of speed.
Has gotten to the point, where you can’t tell if a clear layer was put on top of a master work, photo or whatever, and then just traced, and abtracted using speedy colorful brushstrokes.
This is not the case in your case, i’m sure but is worth mentioning none the less, because when imatation of style becomes the goal, individual style becomes extinct.
Expertice, ends up being substituted with abstraction…a condition that has led from clssical painting being rejected, and replaced by pure white canvases with nothing on them except hype, that sell for a million dollars.
Remindes me of a child who says…it’s just too hard, so I will just paint the way I want to, skip the hard part, and call it beautiful and finished, so that I can hurry to the next one, and do the same thing on it over and over again…not much of a challenge, and for sure not much knowlage gained…just an avoidance of the facts…no pain, no gain…a wisdom that has become replaced with and by speed.
Just voicing a personal opinion here…has to do with the story of the hare and the tortoise…
Everyone runs the race in thier own manner…what counts is THE FINISH…
GOOD TO SEE YOU POSTING AGAIN …Pushav…
TAKE CARE
