The Journey Begins Challenge (3D) Entry: laurent antoine lemog
hi lemog, simply incredible work mate, and it really does look a bit indian to me too, in colors and some of the architecture.once again a brilliant architectural work in progress, this is reminding me of ancient south indian temples, just a little bit thoug, they are a bit scary:argh::argh:
Hahaha… King of Tiles… then, where is the Fairy Tiles ?
hahahaha
Thanks Marco ![]()
Morning Gunie… as you can see yesterday, nothing new… with a week-end dedicated to ohter things… but I work much the last evening… on the gate and on the Serbian Pavilion… just I need to find time now to post these new pics… soon then…
Yes you’re right Dimi… for the moment, this lighting is quickly used only for the wip… I will work more on it when I’ll have the main elements, for the moment, it’s a bit early I mean…
…in other hand, I don’t know if it need for this gateway a more sharp light… it’s the background… and the main subject must keep well defined… we will see in few weeks… remain much work finally…
Okay man, I understand your thoughts… It’s possible to find in this kind of architecture some things similar… a great mix so…
That comes Mohammad… very soon… thanks to be here man ![]()
The texturing seem to be finished… Here’s the gateway…
Remain some details to tweak or modify… but I will keep that for later… in the final scene.
No mate… no problems… I continue to work with the same planning as usually on the World’s Fair… ( I post this morning the latest pictures of the Serbian Pavilion, with modeling finished…)
Hahaha… the challenge is already started man, but with another rythm…
Any challenges could need me Mona… you’re very kind with me… but it’s especially you all my friends who can permit to my thread to live… as yours… the CG community ![]()
Ah, I love this night view  (wallpaper, wallpaper…!) and the others are great too, forget my crits about the colors…I’m impressed now! Great work, Laurent:applause: !

That is so amazing - all of them are, but I think this is my favourite of todays renders!
You’ve managed to bring this to an even more magnificent level, so beautiful
A wallpaper is a very good idea, and maybe some closeups? I’d love to see more of the texturing
You surfing on the good way my friend, keep going, sorry for not posting a lot, but i follow your entry for sure… Good luck!! You’re doing a really good job!
Of course he did! Mr Nutty details wouldn’t forget that, I’m sure
Seriously, the ornaments are beautiful - almost moorish?
