I barely have time to drop by, but I have to say I love the colors

#682

love those colors… :bounce: the whole scene gives promises of:
[ul]
[li]the party is gonna be grand and happy event… [/li][li]hopes for a big and spectacular and rich future with those gold details… [/li][/ul]yeah… me like it…
and the lady might need some color, or? not sure… maybe takes away the big statue feeling i you paint her. hard to say before you seen it with colors tho… maybe it will be enough with some more gold details on her…

#683

Morning Laurent!

The colors are really intensive and saturated…a little unusual for our eyes! But I just trust in your knowledge and your feeling for this style:) …and I’m waiting eagerly for the rest of the textures!:bounce:

Have a nice day!

Merci Msieur Florent…

Thanks for wishes mate.

I trying to be near to the original one… I hope… thanks Beckie…

Well… when woman talk…
…maybe you’re right… I keep that for the end… to do the good choice… thanks for your advice dear…

You know, in my references, I have 3 kinds of colors…

  • a first very clean, very stone… with just a couple of details in gold…
  • a second, with various brown colors…
  • a third, more flashy, entirely covered by gold…
You can see the precision of the documentation :scream: hahahaha

Merci Nicolas…
…I’ve just discover you participate… good to hear… I will take a tour soon…

Glad you appreciate Sergio, thanks.

héhé… thanks for your thoughts… I will do more test for her… the chery on the cake…

Of course, it’s quiete disturbing… very hard colors… I just imagine that in the heart of Paris… argh… hahahaha…

#685

Not a real update… just to see where I am… with a kind of night rendering…
…of course, we can see that a statue more colored will be better… so, more visible.

#686

Wow, that is truly amazing…

#687

wow well that what I can call update u can tell the workers there that they have done a great work :scream:

#688

Ouah monumental … :buttrock:

#689

Yes - I agree, amazing … I can understand the coloring - they wanted to make something unique, very special for this occasion… and with this kids of colors, for sure very special.
I’m glad you agree for colors for the lady - I think, maybe a red dress? :bounce:

#690

wow…night light is really interesting…this is rocking hard…i like the colors choice…may i suggest more orange stone?
i liked a lot the orange stone u used for the down part sculptures, i think it can be used somewhere on the top sculptures, of course is a personal point of view…maybe nobody will like my suggestion so feel free to ignore it…haha,

#691

Really nice mr. Lemong!! All though you might have a problem making this look the right scale with bright collars like this. It may look like at magnificent toy castle

:thumbsup:but for modelling and texturing, a lot of respect!

#692

Woo man really love the design of the lights, really nice and beautiful~ great colour and atmosphere, this is gonna be wonderful!

#693

Thanks Beckie… I’m trying to see this gate with the eyes of the 1900’s people… strange feeling :scream:

hahaha… and my “today” “keep going” ? :banghead: hahahaha

mici… bon aujourd’hui, je ne te demande pas… alors je me contente d’espérer…

Don’t know for the moment, next evening, I will try to find some indications on books… :wise:

It’s not exactly the problem my friend… me too, I really like this orange part… but with the indications I have, it’s the only part I’m sure at 100% about the colors.
Because, at each sides, these part of walls are covered with 2 fresco, in terra cota… it’s the reason for the color.
That really depend of my documentations, but I really try to respect the original piece… of course, it’s not easy, and that can appear sometimes very disturbing for you… but I can reassure you… sometimes, for me too :scream:

#694

Héhé… I really like the comparison… a toy castle… very near of that for sure…… about the global scale… this part is only for the background… a door then… the remaining part will be here to give us the real scale… thanks for your comment.

Glad you appreciate and you find an interest in this realization, thank you so much

#695

Wonderfull…looks festive already…:buttrock:

#696

I love the arch. very massive… keep up the good work

#697

Hey Lolo, this time you are going to kill you PC … definitly!
On the other hand, I love the gate ! Really nice colors. Do you think about doing a night vue?

#698

Holy crap! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
This “ghostly effect” is just too good

How about you show us what will go behind the big gate?

#699

Thanks Dimi… are you ready for party ? :scream:

Glad you appreciate, thanks Robert

No my friend, for the moment, I’m just around 300 000 polys…

It’s planed for the final pic… in the early morning of a april 14… with the sun nod already raised…

hahaha… that comes soon… I can’t post yesterday evening due to a problem of connection… but it’s finally quietly long to do… :scream:
