Hey there John, your entry is coming along just great! :applause: I think you made the right choice for the color scheme, the pink jumped out at me too. I also like the first one but then it might have been a little to much like a two eyed cat. :wink: Now you have me looking forward to seeing a furry Woofer! :buttrock:

Just popped by to say a quick thanks for posting the textures up.
It seems a bit stupid of me now but I was so caught up in the challenge and trying to learn so much at once, that I completely overlooked the hair apps ability to use textures to control hair density.
I chopped up my model so that I had seperate meshes for the hair DOH!
Your maps posts showed me the way, so I can fix the monkey and get the hair looking decent at last.

Always great to see how others find solutions to problems :wink:

just thought about a little problem :wink: Isnt the evolution going the other way? Loosing all your hair until you look like one of these little grey ones? :p hehe... no, just wondering if your hair could not only look alien like but also would behave like it... like growing in triangles or forming out funny shapes... hell I dont know how alien hair could look like… better not listen to me and keep doing all this great work!!! :bowdown:
