I think every character in this family is superb. Not only nice as models, but also at acting out their personalities for your image.

#344

Wow, the family grows! I wonder what he eats?

Coming along very nicely. I’m loving these characters.

#345

Hey great Duck Shakes, i personally like the three heads, have you tried scaleing them to differnt sizes, that might solve the problem

#346

here’s 2 headed Ducky finally!(click on image for high res)

#349

Yep, two heads are definitely better than three which is better than one. Superb expression, or should I say, expressions

#350

oh…looks great…2 head is also great.hmm…theres no doubt that 2 is better than 3 now…has a very cool look man…those eyes gives great expression…:arteest:

#351

here’s another view- there’s not much modelling on wings or tail, as I’ll be using Cinema 4d feathers(hopefully)(click on image for high res)

#352

This is really coming along nicely! I love the duck! Cinema 4d feathers? Is this a new plugin?

#353

The duck is hilarious! It must be a low gravity planet… hahah.

#354

Awe, he lost a head. It could have been an evolution thing. Or perhaps he could tell his grand children that he lost a head in the war.

Oh well, he probably won’t miss it. Chances are the other head will grow another body anyway. :wavey:

#355

i like the duck specially the feet part. nice model you got there. keep it up. great work!!!

Cheers!!!

mdavid: thanks Marky! haha…funny boy. BTW your lil mouse looks brilliant!
rattlesnake: thanks snakey boy! relieved you like it…gave me some grief this one.
Womball: Hi Nathan-thanks, and yes, it’s a new hair module for cinema 4d, and one of the best hair simulators around, I think. you can do feathers with it(I gues sthey’re not real feathers, but they simulate the fluffiness of feathers.
soapy: thanks soap…haha…glad you like buddy
se7enthin: cheers Andrew!
yep, I can always reuse that 3rd head!
megabytes2004: thanks alot Dennis! glad you like tootsies
Gunilla: thanks Gunilla…just looking at your avatar now…sooo cute- your thread is going great guns, and that is one of the sweetest!
Stefan-Morrell: hey thanks Stefan…looking forward to the feathers too…ahem…should add that I haven’t learnt how to do them yet, heh, but I got a week off coming soon. it’s very intuitive though, from the little bits I’ve tried.
Zapan: thanks mate you ol modelling legend!

thanks everyone…tomorrow I’ll post a 3d scene mockup for your opinions.

my Q:n is… when a duck has two heads does he have two names then?

and he is a real winner… :bounce:
with those heads you can make him with any mood you want, both sad and happy at the same time…
