#124

Colours and lights are amazing…
Truly great work!

#125

very, very nice. No crits. Now you just gotta put the work in;)

Hi artvandeley!

Wow, that’s a really neat piece. I like the way the light falls onto the characters in the foreground, and the slight blooming effect it creates is a very nice touch. The man in the front looks very interesting and mysterious because of the hood and the dim light illuminating his face. He stands out from the crowd too I guess because of his dominant color amongst the cooler colored characters and backdrop.

Really nice! vbmenu_register(“postmenu_3297852”, true);

It will be certainly great!!
Good luck!

The coloring is awesome so far. I really love the glowy effects on the crowd… Good luck man!!

#129

Oh please finish Torsten! This is such a wonderful image, so much more vivid high-art than many of the entries…really one of my favorties. Love the way you work with light.

Hi Eric, thanks for the encouragement. !
That goes for everyone else of course. Thanks a bunch for the support.

The thing is: my mother died early April and i had many issues to work on let alone í´m still packed with jobs. So i had very little to no time to work on this image or to join you guys. Sorry.

However i´m more than determined to finish this, just have to figure out how to collect enough time during the next busy weeks to get my ducks in a row. I´m off to London today, but Monday looks good…

Thank all of you again for dropping by, this was really helpful in the past weeks.

O.K., since Monday i managed somehow to work at least 2 hours a day on the background ( mainly at night :-/). I think this can be the way to finish this in time.
Well…hopefully.
I didn´t work on the group though, so the next update will include some more of that.

Patty, thanks! Yep, this was more or less the idea. Glad that you like it
Bryce, hey don´t give up on me that easy hrrhrr
Seriously, thanks for dropping by. Your image btw is getting better and better. I was really surprised when i saw it last time. See you around.

And sorry to hear about your mother.
