The Hunt for Gollum Film needs mattepainters

#1

Hy!

http://www.thehuntforgollum.com/

If there are some mattepainters that are willing to work with some talented people on this fan film (and i mean talented as in people from Framestore who are working in their free time) for the love of Tolkien and digital arts than please use the contact message on the site and post your portfolio and get on the vfx team.

Now the movie is in posproduction and needs lots of mattes, from basic ones (sky replacements) from elven castle mattes.

Hope to see you on board.

Sounds like a very exciting project for any matte painter. Im sure alot of us are all inspired by the LOTR films. I am very interested in being part of this but I just need more info to see if I my schedule will allow.

You can contact me at steve@stevedinozzi.com.

Thanks
Steve

I don’t really know if i am the one who can give you the best answers since i am only a mattepainter for the project. If you will send a message to brian@hunt4gollum.com with a bit of information about yourself, and pictures/examples of work if possible i am sure that Chris Bouchard (movie director) will answer all your questions . Be aware that this is a non-profit collaborative film which is being made purely for the fun of film-making.

Hi Grrrrrrr,
I saw the trailer of the movie; all I can say, it’s going to be a smash hit, just like the original LOTR movies! Awesome attempt!
