The End of the 3dsMax Monday Movie Tutorials

#1

I regret to inform everyone that the 3dsMax Monday Movie series has ended. After a massive computer failure, I lost all of the files and data that made it what it was- the intro and outro videos, the overlays, etc.

But this isn’t the end of my site. I’ll keep on writing and see if I can put together a new series. Stay tuned!

In the next few posts, I’ll write out a full list of all of the episodes so that they can be searchable and more easily found. Keep in mind that it took about 10 episodes to get into the swing of things, so don’t be turned off by bad recording quality early on.

EDIT: CGSociety’s making it hard for me to get the entire thing up for some reason. I’m not a spammer; I just have a lot to upload.

Really sorry to hear that. Though I’m n ot a beginner and rarely work through other peoples tutorials I found different ideas and approaches often very useful.

Thanks for your efforts and for sharing your knowledge.

Dear Mister Bluesummers,
i didnt know about your website until today. I think it is one of the greatest generalist tutorial collections out there! I’m not a beginner myself but those tutorials are straight out awesome! Please don’t cease doing them. It’s such a great contribution to the community.

with kind regards,
Anselm

These are fantastic! Any chance there is a place that I can download these (specifically all of the modeling ones) as a group? I only have sporadic internet access. I’d love to be able to have these for offline viewing.

Cheers!

It’s heartwarming to hear that you guys like the series. I miss it, too and hope to start a new one once I can get the resources rebuilt.

@Pixanaut: You should be able to download the YouTube MP4 from my channel if you put your mind to it. If I recall correctly, there’s a Firefox add in you can use that creates a download button for you.

@PsychoSilence: Glad to have a new viewer, even if the series is over for now. Encouraging words help keep me moving toward restarting the series!

@scrimski, @musashidan: Thanks for the condolences guys. The silver lining is that the computer is pretty fast after the windows re-install. :hmm:
