The dodos are not, in fact, extinct

Hi everyone,

I joined the forum a good while ago and I’ve been mostly lurking since, making the occasional post here and there. I thought I’d drop by here.

My name is Christiaan Moleman and I’m a Dutch/Swedish student in the final year of Computer Games Design at Teesside uni in the UK. The course is mainly about art and animation for games and personally I tend to focus on the animation, although I like to dabble in game design as well.

If all goes well I’ll be starting Animation Mentor this summer, but I’m also keeping an eye open for jobs in the meanwhile.

Cheers,

Christiaan

Hey there Dodo. I checked out your Interactive Animation page and I like the way you think  Let’s just hope some of the game companies pick up on that as well… Would be great to see some more expressive animation in an rts for example (Age Of Empires 3 comes to mind… The graphics of that coupled with the expressive animation you thought of would be AWESOME) Good luck with your future works!

Thanks!

Yeah, I think animation just has so much potential and it would be so cool if games used more of it. Character interaction would never be the same again…

It’s a good thing ninja dodos have a higher survival rate than taekwondodos.
