The Anthill Aces project is looking for 3D modelers and animators.
Anthill Aces is a student project, the core staff is working on the project to gain a masters in game development at the university of Gotland/Sweden.
Game summary
The game is a high-speed multi-player racer, where the players are pilot ants driving a variety of insects. The final game will consist of several game modes,
where the players abilety, reflexes and skills will be tested. On their way to honor and glory, the players must face a load of dangerous tracks, through out a huge (for an ant) house. These rooms are filled with terrifying obstacles; highly attractive lights, insect spray, invisible walls (Windows) and so on.
The graphical production has been running for about 4 month and the project deadline is in the beginning of Jun 06. The goal is to have a running demo by then, that can be presented to the gameindustry and publishers. So if you like to work on a project that can guarantee game industry exposure this is your chance, game industry relations are established by the university. If all progresses well the project may lead to work in the future. (if you know any programmers they are welcome as well, we are developing our own graphics engine and will use Crystal space to develop the game engine.)
Concept art and documents can be mailed on request.
