The Anatomy of a short film?

Oh my I am way over my head when it comes to this sort of thing! Short films sound like so much fun… Ive always been a fan of Pixar short films. What would some of you say is the main steps of short film production?

Idea-Storyboarding-Concepts-Execution? (I know theres much more to it than that… Its just an example to give you an idea what Im asking about)

Have a look at the time schedules in this forum, it’ll give you an idea of the steps we’re using for this short.
