When ever I try to texture a model I’ve made in Wings3D and exported to .obj or .3ds, the texture covers the entire model, even with the smallest brush size. I’ve tried UV-mapping it, but that seems to do nothing.Is this a normal problem? What can I do to fix it?

Hmmm…Did you pain the UV charts itself? Or did you just leave them blank?
And, if you apply a texture without UVmapping, it will apply it to the whole object.
