Well looks like I’m the baby around here with only 180hrs of TF2 :frowning: since the past 6 months…

I found this little guy tucked away in a corner of the Neca Toys booth at Comic-Con. I’m surprised they didn’t make a bigger deal about it. I can’t wait!

I really hate playing engineer. I mean hate hate it. Nothing against the class or people that play it but you work work work to get your stuff set up and then when its go time it gets blown up in some easy peasy way.

I play engineer most of the time cause at-least that way I can be of more use in the team either that or medic, those are the only 2 classes that I can play half decent cause of the pings I get, any other class and I always hit a spot where someone has passed a while back or I become easy target practice for a “SNIPER” or “SPY” :rolleyes: even after running for cover…

BUT THT’s STILL SO MUCH FUN :smiley:

I’m not sure how many of you are into stupidly complex games with learning curves that are almost vertical, but if that sounds in any way appealing and you also enjoy games like DOTA or League of Legends, then you may want to give Heroes of Newerth a try. It’s the game my company is currently working on and releasing updates for.

Starting today, it’s gone free-to-play (with a few restrictions for non-paying accounts).

If you’re actually going to give it a shot, though, try to avoid the forums and other community stuff as much as possible. They’re worse than SPUF.

How about one more TF2 design rip-off? Aside from the fact that I don’t like tower defense, it actually looks like it could be a decent game. But, they should probably look into their own concepts for all three of their characters.

Well, I “was” having fun in game, but I had a hardware scare mid game. Video card started artifacting and locked up the computer three times or so (even artifacted in minecraft and battlefield, though at least in battlefield it was humorous because it made the grass purple). So I turned off the PC, let it all cool down, pulled the card, blew it out with a can of air, put it back in, and all seems well again… whew!

Some day I won’t be working during every game. Not this week though. Ohhh no, not this week. Mac 'n Cheese looks neat, but it’s too much for my pitiful little laptop to handle. I’ll have to mark it for watching later, but I have to get ready for work now BECAUSE THAT’S ALL I DO (or at least that’s all it feels like I do, since I don’t usually work longer than 6 hours days yet it feels like I’m there all day every day). If anybody has any work, I’m looking for a new job :smiley:

I don’t remember what I did since the last version of Seabass so HERE’S A NEW VERSION!
The only thing I can confirm for certain is texture changes in most areas. There are probably some level design changes too, I forget!

That Pipboy is sweeeeeeet! Log in and it’s ready. Unfortunately it replaces my googly gazer… that’s going to be a tough choice.

It’s not logging anything new but all of that old replay data is probably still there. If it’s timing out I’m sure that’s it.

Seabass_b1 is up and in keeping with my new method it is at the front of the map vote so it’s easy to find.

Premuda is out. I forgot the other map that got the poopstick, I’ll find out when I get home.

Thanks Wyatt. I posted that with the intention of playing tonight but I might get stuck out of town again. It could be worse, at least I’m not working today (waits for the phone to ring… 1… 2… 3… okay, good). I’ll join in if I can tonight, haven’t played in ages! If you play Seabass and I don’t get in, just remind me what I’m doing right and what needs fixin.

I can’t say I really like a lot of the changes I saw there, but I’m all for a little CTF variation in our normal grind. I rarely seem to be off work during games lately, but y’know, I’d play it.
