I should thank you guys for testing the map! You guys found the weak points and the strong points and gave me lots of ideas for how I can improve it and make it more balanced.

By next week I should have the caves just about ready, so that should open up all sorts of interesting strategic possibilities that simply didn’t exist in this version of the map.

If anybody has comments, critiques, suggestions, whatever, check out my thread or even just send me a PM so we don’t clutter this thread.

LOL. I like that Pencilhead has a ping of 308 and tied the 3rd highest score. I wish I were home on Friday nights. :cry:

I didn’t get nearly enough screenshots, but play was just too intense to pause and remember to hit F5… So my only shot is of my MURDERER. And for whatever reason I can only post this if I use a thumbnail and a link. Oh well, clicky clicky.

To my credit, Akin, you failed to destroy my teleporter. So it’s not a complete loss. Also, because I’m something of an attention who… craver, I just wanted to point people at my TF2 project, I could use any feedback on my screenshots and suggestions of things to add. There’s a link to my working thread in my signature (escherhaus). Just thought I’d throw that out there.

Threads I start seem to suffer from some kind of fatal disease and generally don’t see much attention. Must be something to do with my naming scheme or something. Maybe I need a shower…

Well in this case I’ll take the silence in my thread as a compliment. I suppose if there’s nothing wrong, there’s not much to say.

I think I’m going to have a number of balance issues for a while and I’m a little hung up as to whether to use a mirror image of Red Base for Blue Base to avoid balance problems of one design being superior to the other, or if I should go with my original plan and make Blue Base after Waterfall. I’m leaning towards Waterfall, but I’ll have to see how it looks after building. I’ve been fairly disappointed in not being able to work in Relativity as much as I could in my past map.

I’ll just have to work Relativity in when I do a Portal map. When there’s a playable version ready, I’ll post it up so we can try it out and fix its flaws.

Dammitall! I was beginning to think there wouldn’t be a game so I just went to bed.

I stayed out all night in the sub-freezing cold of Central Europe a few too many nights in a row so while I don’t like being sick, I’m hardly surprised that I am.

If it makes you feel better, you’re a pain too!

I really enjoy the game so I should probably play more than once a week, lol. I love playing a spy, but it usually takes at LEAST 8 people on a server before you can play it effectively.
