I’m a 3d newbie and just started with the “alien” tutorial from Digital Tutors…
Problem: When I try to “Set the topological axis” for my tangent Mudbox gives me an error message as follows “Symmetry not found. Select two adjacent faces which are on opposite sides of the topological axis and try again.”
Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?
is your mesh really symmetrical…?
this would only work with topologically symmetrical posed meshes…
with the shortcut “shift+s” you will select faces under the cursor…
