takes and updating timeline

maybe some of you guys can tell me why sometimes my timeline does update after I change takes in the dropdown list and sometimes not. well right now it wont update at all no more. this is annoying with about 60 animations finding out the last frame and typing in the number myself for each take…

I didn´t find anything in the prefs and timelime doesn´t have a context menu item on that, so how could I possibly fix this issue?

are you useing the ctrl + shift + a to frame the time line to the current anim length?
or ctrl shift f

not sure what the hot key is for the other hotkey schemes

ui, actually I don´t use any hotkey since I didn´t know what hotkey there should be for something that doesn´t exist :slight_smile: I use the maya scheme btw. (there´s also no hotkeylist anywhere but I guess you know that…)

is it normal that the blend curve in Motion Blend is locked? I once used to be able to change the interpolation mode. then again it is locked, which means i can select the curve points but any buttons (Bezier, TCB, Con, Lin) seem to be frozen. funny thing is I had this problem befor. after going mad and klicking every button anywhere I could find - it suddenly worked. now it´s all frozen again. is this a bug or did I miss something? (same prob with ext1 and ext2 + patches btw)

actually ext2 seems to be way more buggy than ext1. besides this Motion Blend issue it crashes often when I delete takes from the scene browser. also fCurves window has the same problems as Motion Blend does - not so frequently tho.

but the worst thing I encountered - and I don´t know if it is me or a bug again, but it only happens with ext2 - when two takes are blended in Motion Blend -> Local Blending doesn´t work most times. click it or not - no difference (at blending area, rest of anim changes from bad to good) and that is a little bit concerning. it now also happens with ext1 but only with the last of 2 blendings. there is kind of a flip happening exactly where the last anim to blend starts. I really don´t know how to fix this because it allready worked, and now it doesn´t. I can´t imagine why all of a sudden a flip should occure during a slide from one standing anim into another standing anim with minimal differences.

It shouldn´t have something to do with the rig since it is a bone animation only in the Motion Blend.
