Support for Camera Raw

#1

Hi.
Does anybody have an idea/experience with Fusion and Camera Raw?

My company have bought a Canon 5D mark II for a stop-motion project. At this moment i am converting all images from the camera to 16-bit TIFF-files to preserve the large bit depth (since this can be done easily with Photoshops Image Processor, also giving me a low res JPEG as proxy).

Does there exist plugins/converters for Camera Raw for fusion?

If not, will there be any advantage to convert to other formats instead (OpenEXR, DPX), alternatively other software?

Thanks in advance.

I don’t know if exists plugins to support RAW format from Canon.

In my experiencie, when I loaded a .nef file into Fusion, the resolution format that Fusion shows is little, how if can’t read correctly the default resolution from file.
Then I was decided always convert .NEF files to 32bit-tif in Photoshop, after pre-adjusting size parameters.

However, Fusion work internally in float point. From tif format and some others, is possible select bitdepth in loader. Always is possible convert bitdepth with Change Depth op, and also with CineonToLog op to control gamma and exposure and convert to logarithm.
