this is the fantastic! I like it!
Very good lighting and and… and
CONGRAT!

It’s a really nice work. I love the sunlight here.
But, I think you could improve the render. Add some more details and fix the bump on the ground near the camera.

It’s very nice, love the mood. Two things. As mentioned, the bump map on the ground near the camera needs to be lowered, and the railing on the roof could show up better, maybe a little more anti-aliasing would do the trick.

Wow, this is fantastic. A lot of the time when people do outdoor realistic scenes the lighting of the scene is a different colour to the background image, but you’ve matched it up nicely. The bummaping on those buildings is awesome, it doesn’t look like a flat plane but rather a nice concrete wall with a lot of detail to it. Also I think you might wan’t to turn down the bumpmap on the concrete under the railing just a fraction, it’s a bit to strong. I love the water too. Good work!

nice work!
good lighting
can you show your WIP?

#8

great work:)
only one thing i dont like…its the fog in the back of the ally ithink its too heavy to be along with this sky and sun light

#9

Great work!

2 crits:

  1. The street on the left corner of the screen could need a better texture.

  2. The fog seems a little strange.

Other than that, it’s awesome, really!

Thanks to everybody for the critics and comments. I will take note of them.

Wonderful, i only miss the caustics from the lower level of the front side wall. It would give the image motion.

#12

really awesome work!!I love it!

another minor point: I get the impression that I can see the ground behind the water in the foreground, (I dont know if this is just a my impression or you made it so) this looks a bit strange because:

  1. in venice’s canals, water is greenish and dirty so you cannot see the ground (your seems fresh clean water)
  2. water level is much higher than that…

anyway this is great job for sure!keep it up!

hi oblivionblack, what you see, really are the stones of the water. But the reason of that is just artistic, esthetic, cause i have never been in Venice, but i wanted to give it my style. Of course, it could be better.

Thanks !!!:)

This is amazing I totally love the lighting. But still you could add some interesting details on the ground close to the camera. Some small grass between the tiles or and insect on the tube would add more charm to this illustration.

#15

nice one!

#16

i dont like the sky looks so flat

#17

Aww, if the water were not so shallow I would dive inside it! Heehee!!
Wonderful soft image. I love it.

I still do not go to Venice , but these works are personally on the scene by me ! Too beautiful , the quiet surrounding feeling of soft sunlight all lets me be fascinated .The qualitative use of material is also very apt .The small suggestion : The camera is given some angles toward the left again , and the street lamp modelling probably can be more perfect . Learn to you ! Be infatuated with the country in the civilization …
