the gestures have an incredible flow of energy to them. The lines vary pleasantly and all in all you did a great job of boiling a gesture down to just a few confident lines.

I wish I did them…:argh:

longer poses are sweetness.

Hey Yu!
Great work here!
The gestures are really fluid and dynamic and the long poses are really well rendered…infact I’ve been advised to look at your work and try your style of rendering! I’ll try my best

By the way, have you studied from Force-Key to Drawing from Life? Coz I find a hint of that book’s style in your gestures…

Keep up the great work…
Ratul

EDIT: What medium are you using to draw these figures, both short gestures and long poses? And I believe that’s smooth newsprint paper, right?

Hey those are some really nice sketches. I really like the quick gesture sketches at the beginning I was just wondering how long they took you to do adn if there any any quick measurements you take when doing them to get the proportions done or is it all just practice and getting an eye and feel for it?

great work… I’m jealous now coz I still have to wait until may next year to be able to get life drawing classes.
