Thankyou for the big one Tascha! That’s on my desktop now!

Natascha, what a sweet painting! I believe you have improved so much now! The feeling I get from this piece is like something out of Anne of Green Gables. Fantastic work all around especially the girl herself!!!

thanks  I had a lot of fun to create the depth of field in this and also tried to give the balloons a slightly “moving” feeling.

Many thanks :]

hehe - you might like the one I have been working on forever now…it’s actually an asian looking girl with a dragon.

Aww, wowzers thanks so much. That is a great compliment.

I will try - thank you!

Thanks for taking the time to comment and the compliment :]

Most welcome Aly! Lemmi know if you want an even bigger version

Anne of Green Gables? That somehow rings a bell but I can’t put it home. Was there a TV Series about those books per chance?

That is was, on this side of the pond at least. Was on in the 70’s/80’s I believe  COngrats on another fine piece, should be a great addition to your site.

Yay, nice to see it finished  it turned out really great. Congrats on the front page !

Beautiful!

wow , thats the scene i m dreaming of every day
and the girl!!!1
i love it!!
am i alloowed to print it for hanging it in my room?

I just fell in love with this peice of art. When I look at it, it takes me to a special place where things are cool, fresh, young and calm. I just made a quick poem that was inspired by this painting.

“Like a dream of afterlife
A summer sky so pure and clear
Where heaven is a green field
She is there, the angel with tear”

Superb lighting on this one!! Very delicate transparencies in the dress and balloons. Very natural looking girl. Congrats!

I’m really AMAZED by your skills. This painting is really balanced, there’s no ovedetailing whatsoever, has a great atmosphere and a great sense of movement, beautifull colour work. Just… amazing.

Beautiful work, you’re getting better and better. Superb composition and atmosphere - 5*'s

Hi Tasha,

I think I know then - I haven’t really seen it myself (I think…)
and thank you ever so much for the plug Tito :]

Matt thanks - was about time no? I think you are the only one that has seen most of the steps. I even showed you the actual sketch with the rough coloring tryout, right?

Thank you kindly
Are you an eve online fan or linked to the game in a special way? It’s actually the only online game I haven’t tested or played yet

hehe sorry - I don’t think she actually has a phone number  and sure go ahead if you are actually not kidding. This will be available as print soon (I hope :))

awww…oh my god, I really don’t know what to say. I don’t think I ever inspired someone to write a poem - what a lovely idea! Thank you!

Thanks Jose :]

Simon, that’s a big compliment coming from you. Thanks a lot. Your color handling and compositions are still a very big inspiration for me.

Hello Ahmed, many thanks to you too

good - that was pretty much some of the ideas behind it. Thanks!

I know I keep repeating myself but I am still utterly flattered this is received so well. Thanks again everyone
