I would like to know exactly why my latest submission,

was labeled as a W.I.P. and denied for the gallery, and yet this post was allowed in the gallery and it clearly belongs in the W.I.P. (no disrespect to the artist intended),

The image you’re referring to was allowed in a few weeks ago, when for the period of one week, all images submitted to the gallery were accepted, regardless of quality. There was a long thread in General Discussions about it.
I am sorry, but your own image does not yet meet our quality standards. We’re not telling you it’s a WIP, we’re telling you that it’s not yet at the standard that we expect from finished works, and we recommend that you post in the WIP forum to improve it before trying to submit it again.
