i was going thru a drawing tutorial and a line came that doing it with stylised shading will make it gud luk.what did he meant…?
stylised shading
It means shading that do not follow the laws of physics. For example, in comic books and animation, they often use flat colors for shadows–essentially simplifying everything as if there’s heavy banding into one to four values. That’s just one example. Or, you could render things in patches/blotches–kind of like the impressionist painters.
Are you studying the sticky threads like we recommended? That’s where you should start.
ok i read that sticky thread u had put up but i wasnt happy readin it.no offence but i dont get it y people dont lik anime.i mean it feels so offending to know that people think that anime is a botheration outside japan.i live in india but i want to try it even i’m doing it al on my ownand i hav none to perfect me here but i hav started feeling is it really gonna take me high…
What are you talking about? Where does it say in the sticky threads that people don’t like anime? Anime is just a style, and regardless of what style you work in, you have to first learn how to draw. If you can draw, you’ll be able to work in any style you want.
there was 1 thread which asked about popularity about anime.i am practising drawing basic to life drawing to quick sketches.i’m also trying to giv anime an indian edge which is little hard task but as soon as i buy my tablet i’l post some for ur advice…
