Strata2 default ProceduralTerrain rendering error with holes?

I have rendered the Strata2 Procedural terrain included in the Vue 8.4 xStream default collection.

  • But the problem is that it appear strange holes in the rendering on the terraces and plateaus at a little bit altitude.
    I thinked that these are water reflections of the material;
    thus I have resetted the terrain material;
    but the problem is not relative to the material.
    The holes appear also after Reset Material operation.

  • It seems that the polygonal normals of the terrain terraces are inverted and Vue display the internal faces of the mountains, at the flat terraces level.

  • It appears that the flat terraces have a hole.

  • What is the problem of this “Strata2” procedural terrain file?

  • What settings and/or parameters I should tweak?

  • Anyone have already encountered this strange effect?

Please see the attached rendering:

Please help me!
Many thanks in advance!

I tried some settings: it appears that the problem is relative to the “Force Extension” value in the main panel of terrain editor of the procedural terrain.
I am not sure…but this is a issue that appears with all the terrains with Force extension applied!

  • How can I do?
